Status changes don’t announce themselves. We run it on our own book. It flagged a change we’d otherwise have missed, and the history it kept is what resolved the problem. Useful to CPAs, attorneys and tax preparers alike.
Asked around for it first. When that went nowhere, it got built here. You’re coding a transaction in the bank feed and the vendor looks familiar — select the name and it shows every time you’ve booked that vendor before, with the amount and the category you used. Pick one and it fills the account field, ready to save.
Someone famous comes up in conversation — nobody’s heard about them in years — and the question is always the same: are they still alive, or dead? There should be a game for that. Now there is. Fun for anyone; nothing to do with accounting.
